Pros - rigid, attachment method/no need to time barrel nut, variety of lengths for use with FSB or lo pro GB, reasonably priced.Ĭons - not as finely finished as some options, semi sharp edges. Pros - very good looking rail, large id, light weight, plenty of airflow to vent heat, comes with numerous accessories.Ĭons - possibly too lightweight/not as rigid as other designs, barrel nut needs timed. Pros - known design, good looking/more classic style rail.Ĭons - interrupted top rail, drastically more expensive than their newer mlock rails. Pros - easy to install on pinned FSB upper, fairly light, excellent anodizing, smoothed edges not sharp, made by a top notch company.Ĭons - relatively small id/possible interference between GB and C4, not convinced that the C4 is as resistent to flexing as a one piece design, barrel nut needs timing for gas tube. Heres my subjective opinion on some of the options that I am aware of and/or familiar with to varying degrees. Looking to see what all modern, high quality options are out there these days.
